Second edition of the Architecture awards

The Tejas Verea International Roof Architecture Awards is a competition organized by Tejas Verea in collaboration with the Official College of Architects of Galicia. It is aimed at architecture professionals and seeks to recognize outstanding projects or solutions featuring pitched roofs made with Verea ceramic roof tiles.
The second edition of the Awards will recognize projects completed between January 2021 and December 2024 that include pitched ceramic tile roofs. Projects installed using the Verea System® will be positively valued.

Award Categories:
• Eternal Range (use of ceramic tiles from this Verea product line).
• Classic Range (use of ceramic tiles from this Verea product line).

Prizes:
• Eternal Range: €3,000
• Classic Range: €3,000

Additionally, there will be a special mention for projects that showcase new uses of Verea ceramic roof tiles in signage, vertical cladding, interior and/or exterior design.

Eligibility and Participation Conditions:

• Open to architects and architectural technologists working independently, in private companies or public institutions, both in Spain and abroad, as well as professional firms and public sector institutions.
• For the special mention category (signage, interior and/or exterior design), decorators and other professionals may also participate.
• Eligible projects include new buildings (public or private use), renovations, and refurbishments.
• Roofs must feature Verea ceramic roof tiles. Projects installed following the Verea System® (DIT 622p/22) will be given positive consideration.

Submission Deadline:
The deadline for registration and submission of documentation is Thursday, September 11, 2025, before 24:00h (midnight).

The International Architecture Awards Tejas Verea Roofs is a contest organized by Tejas Verea in collaboration with the Official College of Architects of Galicia. It is aimed at architectural professionals to distinguish outstanding constructions or solutions on roofs made with Verea ceramic roof tiles.

The first edition of the Awards will distinguish constructions completed between January 2018 and December 2020 with a bend roof of ceramic roof tile, positively evaluating those that have been installed using the Verea System.
